This technique utilizes noble materials like the silver metal threads, gold metal threads, pearls, sequins, purls, various threads and cords for the gold embroidery. You can also ornament and embellish your clothes, house articles, cushion covers, handbags and all other supports. Workshops animated by Shikha are for the beginners, amateurs or professionals.

Introduction to the Indian Embroidery with Indian Crochet (aari and Zardosi)

Program 1 :
5 workshops for a duration of 10 hours
Timings : 10h -12h and /or 14h - 16h
Material : Indian Crochet Hook, embroidery needles, metallic threads

• Chain stitch with Indian crochet hook
• Stitching of pearls and sequins with Indian crochet hook
• Stitching of sequins with 2nd technique with Indian Crochet Hook
• Working on the motifs with the acquired techniques
• Stitching of mirrors with the Indian Crochet hook.
• Working on the motifs with the mirrors
• Stitching of sequins with the needle, knots embroidery, satin stitch
• Final motif with all the techniques acquired during the PROGRAM 1

Program 2 :
5 workshops for a duration of 10 hours
Material : Indian Crochet Hook, embroidery needles, metallic threads, silk threads, embroidery cords, twists

• Introduction to silk threads: Chain stitch and long and short stitch
• Zig zag stitches, technique to attach de cords and twists
• Working on the motifs with the acquired techniques
• Patchwork with Indian crochet hook
• Cutwork with Indian crochet hook
• Cross stitch with silk thread with Indian crochet
• Final motif with all the techniques acquired during the PROGRAM 2

Program 3 :
5 workshops for a duration of 10 hours
Material : Indian Crochet Hook, embroidery needles, metallic threads, silk threads

• Long and short stiches for shading with Indien crochet hook
• Turning of long and short stiches around a curved motif with the crochet
• Long and short chain stiches with silk and metal threads with crochet
• Closed long and short linear stitches with silk threads
• Stitching of tassels with Indian crochet
• Vermicelli with silk threads with Indian crochet
• Final motif with all the techniques acquired during the PROGRAM 3
• You have the possibility to use other techniques of PR1 and PR2

Introduction to the Gold Embroidery / Purl Embroidery ( Zardosi):
Program gold embroidery : Workshops of 15 lessons with a duration of 30 hours. Material- embroidery or crewel needles, chenille needles, threads, gold twists and cords, fine scissors, tweezer, Indian crochet hook felt

Tarifs program 1 , 2 , 3 : 190 euros per program
Tarifs program 1 with gold embroidery program : 760 euros
Tarifs gold embroidery programm : 570 euros (30 hours)

Advanced workshops
The Advanced workshops are possible after Program 1.

You have the style, ideas and now you can create or customize by giving your personal touch to your clothes and accessories. Chose the package for your Création workshops.

Art of embroidery
For the advanced workshops the student brings their own fabric or they have a possibility to buy the fabrics proposed by the workshop

The workshops are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11h to 13h and 15h and 17h

During the week the workshops are open from 10 a.m. Call us to reserve your place.

Embroidery workshops takes only 4 students at a time.
